What's our aim?
We strive for a 'recreation' of the early mediaeval period which is as authentic as possible. We also strive for a group as broadly orientated as possible, which is able both to organize large (international) events and to act on a smaller scale. Most of all, we find it important that all this takes place in a cosy and friendly atmosphere, leaving ample room for individualism.
Ulfrun prefers events where we can show the public what the various handicraft techniques from the period were, how they lived (and battled) and how they dressed. We can be seen both during large shows in, amongst others, The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, England, Poland and Scandinavia, as well as during smaller school and museum projects.
